2022 OLD VINE PINOT NOIR
Our dry-farmed vineyard, est.1970, hosts seven Pinot Noir clones on the eastern slope of Sonoma Mountain. The volcanic soil of the terroir adds character and complexity to the fruit. Cultivated with a commitment to biodynamic and organic practices, the grapes are picked by hand at perfect ripeness, hand-sorted, and whole-berry fermented. Our meticulous small-batch winemaking techniques capture the nuance of terroir, evoking a sense of place that distinguishes its character and uniqueness.
This vintage holds profound meaning for our family, sourced from 52-year-old vines that endured the 2017 wildfire. We've crafted a single barrel, yielding 24 cases, encapsulating the essence of our journey.
