2020 Rosé of PINOT NOIR

This Rosé of Old Vine Noir is crisp and dry, with bright acidity, hints of aromatic stone fruit and delicate floral notes. This vintage has deep significance for our family, as the grapes are from fifty year old vines that survived the 2017 wildfire. Some of the fruit came from vines seemingly lost to the fire; however, to our surprise new canes grew from the trunks and produced mature cluster of grapes. We celebrated this remarkable rebirth during an early dawn harvest. 25 cases produced. 
 
Winemaking Notes: Harvested at 22.7 Brix, 7.2 TA and 3.42 PH. Hand sorted, whole cluster gently pressed. Fermented in French Oak, with 4 month maturation. Bottled January, 2021
