2014 OLD VINE PINOT NOIR

The 2014 was a great vintage for Pinot Noir, with an early spring and a cool summer.  This vintage holds delicacy while showing complexity. Soft tannins and earthy, with ripe raspberry and tart cherry tones. Finish has notes of vanilla, cinnamon, cardamom and peppercorns. Oak forward but also well balanced with fruit and tart acidity. Barrel aged for 27 months in artisanal-coopered oak barrels. We produced 120 cases.
